Optimising performance by reducing operating costs and releasing capacity so teams can focus their attention on higher-value activities.
Maximising output and outcome quality by automating manual tasks and embedding data-driven decision-making throughout your organisation.
Eliminating the risks involved with manual processes and intuition-based decision-making to minimise strategic and operational risk over time.
Protecting business continuity and maximising operational reliability by eliminating single-person dependencies and integrating core systems.
Committing to digital transformation as a long-term investment where the costs will come in advance of the anticipated benefits.
Ensuring leadership have a clear vision on why they’re investing in digital transformation and how it will drive forward their strategic objectives.
Inspiring advocates throughout the organisation to build excitement and drive adoption of the fundamental changes that underpin your transformation.
Understanding that transformation isn’t a ‘set and forget’ exercise and requires investment in continuous improvement to realise the benefits.
Mission Intelligence
Managing Director
Hiring James Martin and his team at Mission Intelligence was an easy decision. The intent of the relationship was established very early when James turned up an hour early for his presentation to our Board because ‘he did not want to be late’. That enthusiasm has been surpassed by the professionalism and competence of the team as they have mapped our complicated operating infrastructure and engaged with our many relationships.
While our solution is still in development; I have no doubt it will exceed our lofty expectations.

Mission Intelligence has helped Grant Thornton scale a data analytics service by designing and developing an Analytic app to undertake a bulk of the calculations.
James was very thorough in understanding requirements and developed a very complex solution that puts our service at the leading edge of the market.
The tool has since received international recognition from Alteryx. Highly recommend James and the Mission Intelligence team!

Mission Intelligence put on a masterful, one-day workshop. James Martin held the participants’ attention and expertly guided our group to develop their own Power BI dashboards.

James from Mission Intelligence willingly provided meaningful industry insights and suggestions to the curriculum development for my University of Otago 'Introduction to Accounting Analytics' paper (ACCT260).
He also gives his time as a guest lecturer, and the related student project's outcomes are impressive. He also volunteered his time to work with me and two University of Otago students on a student summer scholarship project for a Ngai Tahu Hapu in 2021/22. We were asked to develop a data analytics dashboard that measures "success" from a Hapu perspective.
James helped guide the students through the project stages, cumulating with a proof of concept dashboard based on Hapu-provided data. We received positive feedback from Hapu, and the plan is to expand the idea to a complete solution.
